Any insurance recomendations? Sorted now
My insurance is up on the Daytona soon. Would like to stay with the company I'm with at the mo (Hastings) but they don't do multibike and I'm gonna get a scooter for going to work on. Any recomendations?
Cheers, Mike

Re: Any insurance recomendations?
I coulden't recomend AQuote enough, they have always been amazing when I've had to make insurance claims.

Ebike is cheap, I'm using them for a pay-monthy policy. They can give you a one years no claims certificate for every eight months of pay-monthly cover.

Re: Any insurance recomendations?
Just checked out bike sure and they do multibike and ride any bike eg your mates. Seems ok but they always assume things and once you start getting into the nitty gritty on line it ends up easier to phone.
I will give the suggested ones a go, thanks
Deej haven't got a scooter yet, had other things to do, but am still on the prowl.

Re: Any insurance recomendations?
i used the moneysupermarket.com to find my new insurance. they have a small link to a bike section.
worth looking at, thru them i got BOTH r1's insured FULLY COMP for
ok i know one of them isnt in the best shape but its being rebuilt and i still have all the parts, just some are in more than one piece ahem
£332 the pair
but still, that price i thought was good, protected NCB too

Re: Any insurance recomendations?
Right as said I was looking for a multi bike policy for when I get my scootay. Ended up with Bennetts for £271 fully comp, protected NCB, pillion cover, and legal cover. The woman said the problem was finding a multi bike with the mods I've got on the Daytona, I told them cos otherwise they can refuse cover or something.
Amongst others I tried Bikesure cos they do muti bike. Gave the guy all the info and he said that they can only do multi at the time I take out the policy. When I said I'd phone around to find someone that will and see if I could get a better quote he started getting shirty. When he said 'you won't get better but if you think you know more about insurance carry on' I said no need to be rude, and hung up
Bennets will let me add up to 6 bikes at any time

I was with Bennetts last year. Fully comp for £182,that was with breakdown cover, legal assist & protected ncd.
This year they want £260!!
I'm going elsewhere.
Already found two quotes for around original price,( Carol Nash, ebike ).

Tell that to Bennetts.
I'm a year older this year & they want an extra £80.
