As I said, yes there are plenty of old hands who are bad riders but generally, more experienced riders are safer.

If you have any doubts, ask your insurers why your insurance gets cheaper the longer you have been riding.
Your insurance also gets cheaper as you get older...new biker or not....Doesn`t mean you can ride one any better

i think most peoples bikes on here are toys and will freely admit it. I know that some ride all year and don't even have a car. Their bikes come out when its either nice, the missus has gone shopping and you don.t need a pass or or you cut the grass and earnt a day pass. They are not tools that have to be used everyday so choose not to. Horses for courses plain and simple.

Completely agree. Unfortunately I fall into the dont have a car category so I have to use mine for everything.

Statley you still aint given me anything to prove wrong. If you actually had facts I may even consider believing you

Do you honestly think I care one jot weather or not you believe me ? :?

If you do, then that would mean I have some regard for your opinion, and believe me when I say, I do not.

In a nutshell, I know I am right - I do not care if you believe me but if you are so hung up on what I think, and it's obviously causing you a lot of unrest, then show me that I am wrong - it really is that simple - if you cannot then just forget it - do my opinions mean that much to you ?

It does not matter how good a rider you are accidents happen. Mike Hailwood was killed in a car accident. My best mate who was a superb rider was killed in a bike accident by another fu####g biker overtaking a car on a bend his pillion girl friend ended up in hospital for six months. That does not make my mate a bad rider, just the wrong place the wrong time on a road he travelled down everyday. He was not speeding or riding in a dangerous manner as with everything in life there is an element of luck, good or bad!

Ditto

I amuses me endlessly when ignorant newbie pillocks like you try and make out they know something about bikes.

Let's face it.

Someone who does not even know what defensive riding is

You never did tell me who you did your training with.

I wonder why. :D

Jesus Christ you two, have a [Censored] Kit Kat

One comment I think is worth mentioning though; I think most people are in agreement that experience does matter and can improve your riding / driving skills, however many "experienced" riders out there are still terrible riders. Why? Because sadly there are a lot of people on our roads in cars and on bikes that are - quite simply - FUCKTARDS. There's loads of people out there that I wouldn't put in charge of a shopping trolley, yet they are out and about on our roads. If your IQ is 2 then all the experience in the world is not going to make the blindest bit of diiference, as the saying goes; you can't polish a turd.

Just for the record I'm not directing that comment at anyone on here, as I don't know most of you, and I'm not saying that anyone who crashes is a fucktard either, so put your handbags down. Just my own personal observation.

+1

It dosent matter if you learnt to ride 40 years ago on half a ton of pig iron or last week on the the most lightest modern bike out. If you ride like a front bottom then you are a front bottom. End of.

One thing though statley, your comments of "i've been riding years to I'm the best, All newbies are shit, and I used to courier in london" just makes you sound liek a complete prick just like andyals
Apparently I'm supposed to care!!

Show me where I said all newbies are shit

It's obvious by your writing style that you are a bit thick, but can't you even read :?

No but what I do have, is a hell of a lot of experience and believe me, when you've been riding a bit longer, it's something you'll come to appreciate.

Believe me, over the years I've been riding, I've seen people like you come and go with tedious regularity.

You pass your test, and then suddenly, you are in a position to call upon all this percieved experience (yeah right), and tell the rest of us where we're going wrong.

You're a newbie

A sprog.

I knew that even before I looked at your profile and then realised I've been riding longer than you've been alive.

You do not have any experience to call upon, so don't pretend you do.

Much as it irks you, I would take the word of an experienced traffic officer with years of experience and thousands of miles under the belt, over a post das newbie rider with hardly any experience like you any day.
Sound famlier  maybe if you didn't cut and paste everything you retard you might remember what you wrote
