AMS are also in Torquay and Paignton
Re: AMS Tyres
Not so impressed with there service this time, refused to fit some part worns due to lack of tread, when they had loads left. Fair enough but desperatly needed a back tyre.
So bought a bt014 fitted quickly enough. Left a nice big scratch in my shiny swingarm. Also charged 15 quid to adjust my chain because it was dangerously tight?
WTF. Took the back wheel out = have to re adjust the chain anyway.

Re: AMS Tyres
depends if they had to slacken off the chain in order to get the wheel out, which they should do anyway if they're doing it right. With regards to the chain adjustment as it's too tight they would have had to ask your permission before carrying out that job.

Why
Pull out spindle, roll wheel forward in swing-arm, unhook chain, roll wheel out. Installing the wheel is a simple reversal of the procedure, chain adjusters remain unaffected
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....
