Looks like a quite a long run. The bike would love to come, it hasn't had a good thrashing since I was last out with you guys back in October. I've got tooth ache, (dentist Monday) Kidney ache, (had an ultrasound a couple weeks ago, found nothing) and back ache. (not a clue why, I hurt it a few months back gardening :D it got better and now got bad all by itself) But the weathers been so nice today I'm tempted to take some Ibuprofen and drag myself along. Might be a case of seeing how I'm feeling on Sunday morning. Roll on Spring!

Hi Tony,
I figured you'd all be dying to here how I'm getting along. My backs getting better, and tooth aches no worse, so my body can do it, but now the bikes having second thoughts. I thought I'd go out and start it this afternoon just to make sure it's OK, and nothing. So I whipped out the air filter, sprayed in some Easy Start still nothing. Checked the fuel tank and crank case breather pipes, clear. Took out one of my 2 spark plugs, gave it a clean, checked it for spark and there was plenty. Put the plug back squirted in some more Easy Start and it just fired up. Interestingly a lot of throttle while it was firing would kill the engine. Anyway ran it for 5 mins in the garage then took it for a spin round the block and it ran fine. I guessing it's stale fuel as I don't think I've refuelled since October, might be a combination of things, slightly dirty spark plugs, slight waxing up of the carbs after months of being idle. It's also done 28,000 miles so due for valve clearance adjusting, and carb balancing. (I don't suppose anyone has a balancing kit?) Anyway I plan to be there in the morning if the bike will start, if I can use up the stale fuel, and put in some fresh I'm hoping that will fix it. My mobile numbers below if you wanted to add it to your phone, and then if you don't see me and wondering whether I've managed to get the thing started, you could give me a text/call?
Well hoping to be there tomorrow, long time no see.
Andy.

He did an oil change at home earlier in the week and didn't like the feel he was getting when tightening the plug so took it down to Peak performance this morning for a second opinion left there with oil dripping all the way home so now he has to drain the oil remove the fairings and get the sump helicoiled
