Airport

Anyone left their bike at the airport for any extended period?

Just having to fly out early and not owning a car the bike is the only way I get to the airport.

Bristol Airport and it's a hell of a lot cheaper to ride and park than to get a cab

Bristol Airport has a separate motorcycle parking area - I don't know what kind of security they have covering the area though as it's not in the main parking area. Oh - and it's free to park your bike there.

Only other alternative would be train to the middle of Bristol and get the airport shuttle bus - not gonna be cheap but at least you wouldn't be worried about your bike. Depends how early your flight is though.

Thanks

A really early flight so I reckon I will take them up on the airport parking and leave it in the hands of disk lock, chain, CCTV and God

Got stopped with a pair of shocks in my hand luggage last week. Confused them completely. Had to have a big discussion about them. I didn’t mention that they had oil and compressed nitrogen in them as well.

They didn’t take kindly to the bottle of water either. Oops.
