Recommendations for Gear

Re: Recommendations for Gear
I'd recommend trying everything on in a store, and then buying online when you know what fits. I got a Shark RSF3 helmet for £40 less than retail online, and an RST Rift leather jacket for £90 off. No shop would be able to match discounts like those.

And because of no sales the shop go's out of business and you're left buying blind. If the sale go's wrong, you have little or no direct come-back.
Where do you shop for food? anywhere other than Tesco's? How about I pop around yours for the evening, and try the food in your fridge / cupboard to see if another supermarkets food is better than ours?
With attitudes like yours, there will be no local retailers and we'll be stuck with a couple of big chains who are able to dictate prices in an area .....
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Pah, if its £20+ cheaper online then I'll buy online every time. If its less than that I'll go local. Thankfully CMS has always been as cheap as anywhere online, so most of our motorcycle clothing has been from them.

Re: Recommendations for Gear
I'm happy to buy locally, and will do so if the price differential isn't too much, but i'm not well off so saving an extra £40 on a jacket is too much to pass up.
Re: Recommendations for Gear
Yep, discount as above. Depends on what you're buying as to what else I can do for you

I got a Richa jacket that two of my mates paid over £250 for for £79 at this shop on line, they have a store on Ebay. My Shark Union Jack helmet I got cheaper by around £50 off on Ebay too. Oxtar race boot cost me £50 second hand, they retail at over £150 a pair.
Hope this helps
