Look in here for local ride outs...

Forum rules
You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Well?

Suits me if it does, as I've only got to get back up the road to Yeovil...

WARNING

The council have been out and about and are trying to spoil a bit of your fun :(

The stretch of the A372 from Westonzoyland to the bridge over the M5 at Bridgwater has just been resurfaced (yesterday I think). It's that lovely "let's spray a bucket of tar and then dump 2 tons of gravel on it - it'll be ok" The road is covered in loose gravel and there's one bend that looks lethal for bikes ... cars and tractors have made the two-wheel ridges (tar showing so may be iffy if it rains) and the rest is just cat litter. I've got a new chip on the windscreen from a van going the other way - neither of us were going at all fast

There's also a bit about a mile before Westonzoyland where there's a side road which has been done and the gravel from it has spread across the corner of the main road (nice left-hander by the old airfield that's used for bike training).

BE CAREFUL (or maybe change the route a bit).
my mind not only wanders ... sometimes it leaves completely
