I have some hood ones they are compltely lined and have reinforcing on the hipsand knees, i think draggin jeans are only lined on the knees and hips

I think I'm right in saying that its only Draggin Jeans that have got CE approval. Don't know what they are like though. I'm sticking to leather! :D

As Colin says, it depends on what they're used for, and when

Yes, Leather is always best, but they're too much hassle to wear if the bike riding aspect is the minor part of what you're doing - i.e. going somewhere for a "social" event where leathers would be a right royal pain in the arse .... In such a situation clothing like Draggin Jeans have a place

Draggin Jeans are certainly good for round town when you cant be arsed to wear leathers, much better than standard jeans.
Draggin jeans have the best level of abraision protection - the level of kevlar in them out does all the other brands, in cluding Hornee, BKS ect ect....

However, BKS have removeable knee and hip protection too which is quite good! And its a bit of a myth about draggin jeans having CE approval - yes they do, but only one set - the C-Evos's. None of the others do.

I've crashed in 1 of my pairs, still wear them in the summer, I had knox knee armour in them, very good IMO. Although around the pocket there is a hole now from where my inhaler was which exploded on impact and left me bruised. I have textiles, leathers and jeans. Leathers racing, textiles winter, Draggins and leather jacket in summer. Good but there are other makes around. I like my Draggins, other people like Hood, there's bulletproof etc. I've crashed in 1 pair of my Draggins (I have 2 combats and 2 normal jeans) I still trust them. But as everyone says, can't beat leather.

i have a pair of draggin jeans and i only really use them during the summer if i'm pootling around town or riding to work.
leathers are a bit of a pain if your hopping on and off the bike and the ride to work is only 15-20 mins.
