Doh

Post by Funky »

After 2 years no on the road crashes (trackdays don't count :)): ) I have had an off.

Going up Old Rydon Lane on my way to work ther was a burst watermain so the road covered in water, going through carfeully, I clear it. Get on the throttle and rear spins up on ice where a trail of water left by cars passing through has frozen over.

Bolloocks, oh well good excuse to change the look of the bike.

Off to the garage I go.

Oops... I had a similar incident this morning.

The lights were red so I went to the outside of 2 lanes of traffic, lights go green and I give it a bit of gas to get to the inside lane first...

Around came the arse end and I'm going up the road sideways aka Speedway... luckily, no highside followed...

Yeah... too right. I am not a fan of the compensation world where you sue for every bloody thing BUT things like this are different. It's their job and they need to do it properly! They are quick enough to chase late bill payers! Good luck with that.

Sadly they'd put up a flood and skid sign. I also noticed the burst main last night thats why I was tip toeing through it. Just one of those things, cheers though bud.
