George Whites, Bodmin - Closed

Post by graham22 »

Just a heads up to save anyone else doing a 70 mile round trip.

Understand they are relocating their stock from Bodmin to Plymouth, nothing on their website hence wasted journey yesterday!

From speaking to the Gul shop here in Falmouth I understand it's more to do with Gul closing the clothing side of their business & not renting/leasing out the premises to GW.

Have looked on website this morning, Bodmin no longer listed.

Me too was not even anything worth looting in there if a riot did break out in Bodmin, well there where some £9.99 helmets that would make good plant pots if the where 99p

I believe they were going to merge the 2 stores into 1 and all at Bodmin with the lease a done deal, something's changed somewhere and it will now be interesting to see what happens in this area!!!!

Sorry to drag up a slightly older topic, but went in to St Austell today to see GT had gone!

By chance, does anyone know if the 5 year service plan that we took out with GT would be valid with George White in Plymouth?

Shock horror another shop dies in Bodmin..they will probaly fill the unit with charity shops and hair dressers as thats all we seem to get. althou im glad Weatherspoons and Lidls are now here as it makes it easier to no where all the crims and scroungers are on a daily basis.
