Christmas Inbetweeny bit Ride anyone?

Post by badgerKDD »

Ok in that funny bit between Christmas and New Year, anyone fancy a lunchtime meet up at Jaspers? I've got my kids from the Friday evening until Monday morning ( 4pm, 29th to 10am, 31st approx), there out, but otherwise I'm free from Boxing Day onwards :D !

Suggestions on a suitable date, and a who's interested would be great. I know Si is a bit tied up with working nights but I can easily do the Friday from above and the Monday, if that helps?

Oh and presents are optional :)) !!

I could be intrested with the Friday, all depends if when the daughter and son inlaw are coming down. If the ferry is running could be good run up to Torpoint

Aw Badger, that would be ace! I'll know closer to the time what days are more suitable, but this bird needs some bike time to look forward to...!

I was also going to suggest a run up this way somewhere...a chance to blow those xmas cobwebs away  you up for some Devon border invading..?

Is there some mind reading going on here  Simon and I were chatting on Friday and I said how about a ride that started in both east and west collecting people along the way and meeting at Jaspers for a natter before returning from whence we came :)

I feel a plan coming together

If we get chance I want to do a 'Left overs' ride too! Bring along those green triangles no one likes from the Quality Street, the remainder of the Christmas cake, that tube of Pringles that seemed a good idea in Tescos 2 weeks ago..... get the idea? :)): Might have to make this a reasonably local one, unless peeps from afar want to come? No idea where to go, preferably somewhere with a tea wagon - suggestions welcomed!

:ymhug: mmwwaaa! nearly Christmas

So now it is actually December I allow myself to whisper the word xmas. I'd like to come along too if I am free at the right time. Also depends where for me as when the sun drops it gets bloomin chilly on that M5.

Keep me posted. Cups o warm tea sound like a good plan. Maybe keep away from overhanging tree lined routes too as they'll all be green and slippery until we get some sunshine again.

Baa bloody humbug.

What about after the 30th? Are you free at any point? Like I said i am free after about 10am on the monday 31st and definately free New Years day ( I'm deffo not out and about New Years Eve, I'm more Billy No Mates than Si on that night ;), so no hang over to worry about :ymsmug: ). Think I might be back at work on the 2nd though? :-\ ....

As for left overs, you must be joking, I'll be eating those on Boxing day :)) !
