Hi all!

Post by Dazza22345 »

Hey guys,

Came across the site through searching google regarding bikes! (how I spend many hours at work)
I'm 22, live in Exeter and have had my full licence for around 14 months, the greatest thing I've ever done!
Absolutely love bikes and just can't stop talking about them!
I'm an all year rider and am always out no matter what the weather, don't have the "luxury" of a car for the winter months (not that I particularly want one!)
List of bikes I've owned are:
Piaggio nrg 50 sport (gotta start somewhere right)
Aprillia sr125
2008 Aprillia Rs125 (at which point I decided I would never ride a ped again)
2008 Suzuki sv650s. (wasn't a huge fan, made me want a sports bike again)
2006 Suzuki gsxr 750 (amazing bike, gave me so much confidence and felt so easy to ride)

And my current beauty:
2007 Kawasaki zx10r (definitely my favourite, and the one I can't ever see me getting rid of. Puts such a smile on my face evertime I go for a ride! Plus keeps me on my toes in the icy weather!)
Mods - tail tidy, gilles rearsets, and upgraded front brake to brembo m4's with braided lines and rcs19 master cylinder!

As you can tell I love my bike and spend all my money on it! Look forword to going for a ride with some of you guys, although I work 70 hours a week so may not get chance as often as I'd like!

I'm quite a friendly happy guy and always up for meeting more fellow bikers :)
Any questions just ask.

Cheers
Daryl

Morning Daryl. Welcome to Swb, that's quite a list.

The 10 is a beast. There are rides on here every now and again but feel free to post up your own if you are out for a bimble

Lots on different shifts being worked by the people who use this site so chances are someone will be up for some fun.

Cheers for the responses!,
Just to point out I'm actually 23 not 22, must have been half asleep when I wrote that!
Yeah the 10r definitely is a bit of a beast, proberly why I love it so much!

Trackday sounds like good fun :) will have a look for that, is it possible to rent a bike though?
Not quite sure how much I'd trust myself with my only form of transport!

Yeah should have realised would be a bit quiet this time of year! I just see it as a good time to sharpen my skills! Plus skip past everyone stuck in traffic everyday!

Look forward to meeting you all!
