Well I've spent the last half hour trying everything I can find to fix the problem, and I just can't see what's doing it 
As far as user permissions go, it all says you can send PM's, but as soon as I log in as you the relevant buttons seem to disappear 
As Simon said, I'm afraid we'll have to refer it to the site owner, Dave, and see what he can do ........
