Not such a great race but what a talent ? I suppose it makes perfect sense turning your bike on your knees and elbows - must try it sometime

Great ride from Cal, one minor mistake but recovered well - great for his confidence.

Gonna be a great season, just what the sport needed.

COTA looks an amazing place = very "european" .....

Shame that once again the Hondas clearly have such superior straightline speed ...... I think the result might have been different if Lorenzo (and even Cal) was actually able to race on equal terms?
Of all the things I have ever lost, I miss my mind the most .....

Erm well yes but as soon as we get to a more technical/twisty track that suits the Yam............. Lorenzo on Pole then runs away with it, like in Qatar :/
At least this race if someone made a mistake the others were close enough that it would cost dearly. Some good scraps along the way :)

I'll be interested to see what Europe brings, and what Yamaha do for Crutchlow? If they pull their fingers out Cal could be up for a few podiums this year, otherwise its going to be a year of 4ths and 5ths, depending on what Rossi does.

By the way, did anyone else hear about Rossi test driving a NASCAR car this week? There are a few rumours floating around Twitter in the last 12hrs or so, probably doesn't mean a thing but maybe Cal could be on a factory ride next year??
