Hello from Burnham!

Post by Tombo »

Hi all, a quick hello to introduce myself! I'm 27 and passed my full test back in 2011 with AMTC in westonzoyland. Looking to meet a few people to ride with as none of my mates ride bikes!

Today I part exchanged my monster 696 for a new gsx-r 750. The dealer gave me a deal I just couldn't refuse. For the past 2 years I've been riding my monster and reaquaiting myself with motorbikes and the time had come to have a bit more power. So far I've clocked up 75 miles back from Bristol the long way and the bike is so nice to ride. Thankfully this morning it was fine and dry! Slightly different now!

I'm keen to try a track day at some point this summer and hopefully make some mates to go for rides with.

I would be happy to tag along for an evening or weekend ride. I usually go for a ride over the mendips, Weston or exmoor.

Look forward to any replies. Thanks tombo.

Thanks for the welcomes everyone! Probably was me, I was out today desperately putting miles on the bike! Pretty windy but gave me another chance to get used to the bike! It's quite different from my 696 so it might take a few months to be at one with it. Can't wait for the first oil change so I can use more of the engine.
Good to hear another suzuki fan, always liked the 750's.
I'll be going for a spirited ride over the weekend and a quick ride tonight! Weathers looking good!

Fantastic, slowly introducing more revs. I couldn't resist it anymore and took it to just over 10k rpm. It's got over a 100 on it now. Working all weekend so didn't get much of a chance for a long ride. I'll be heading out tonight for another 1hr ride and thinking of heading over minehead way, perfect evening for it.
