hi can anyone recommend a good chain and padlock preferably an approved one thanks in advance. :wink:

almax best on the market in my eyes and worth the money if it stops your bike from going missing.

yes they have I thought that was the video, be right bak the video they done when they tea=sted there chain broke them big old bolt cutters, BRB

Any chain is only ever as good as the lock that holds it! If these guys make locks to match they'd get my vote and custom in a heartbeat. :D

the chain comes with a squire sc65 close shackle lock (I think that's the lock model) , wich the bolt cutters can get to and if you were to cut it you would have to have 2 cuts near perfectly straight to get the 19mm shackle out from the lock.

I did look on the almax web site chain and padlock about £175 and what saving would you get on your insurance premium? Anyone got any info of that .

In the second video, he spends 10 seconds doing the first cut then ages doing the second... interesting...
