MotoGP in a Cornish pub, interested?

Post by badgerKDD »

Right I've been told of a couple of pubs in Portreath that have BT Sport on the big screen, Well one has BT the other has a big screen and the owner likes motorsport, but I'm not sure what TV system he has yet. Anyhow, is anyone interested in heading along for Sunday roast and MotoGP? If a few of us want to head that way I'll make inquiries as to which pub is prepared to show it ( instead of obscure football from Eastern Europe or some such crap that is usually on in these pubs) especially if I can promise a few money spending customers to grace the establishment ;) !

Possibly. If the weather was decent then I could have a bit of a blast down.

If the weather is good i'm sure i will be up for a ride out for a nice sunday lunch and a bit of MOTOGP, It beats watching it at home by myself with a misses who couldn't care less about it! I'm pretty sure i could bring a mate who'd be up for it too.

I'll do some ringing around this week and find out the details, but it'd be a good way to start the new season :D

Now it does mean I might get my head kicked in for crossing borders but sure my contacts can smuggle me through... =)) Reckon it sounds like a plan... any chance of a lock in with a fly away round :D
Let us know what's on when.

Morning blast down and around then afternoon racing on the screen before a blast home.

Well as Qatar is an evening race I won't be watching that in a Pub. I'm now thinking about a later date, maybe the British Round would be a good one. Anyway still looking for a suitable pub as the one I was thinking about has a reputation of being a bit unfriendly to non locals ( that includes me ;) ) so I'm starting to look further afield and will keep everyone posted when a Pub, date and plan are better formulated.

Watch this space......ish!
