Re: Portimao
Well what a great time had by all. Out of all that booked only 1 had to pull out.
Hotel was great, coffees were better! Not cold and not overly hot. Not sure many could do this track in the summer moths though!
Well priced for a rush like this, think I came in at around the £1400 mark but that was for absolutely everything! Hotel, fuel, food, drinks, transport, 3 new tyres, car hire insurances etc so all in all money well spent.
Glad I posted this one up and even happier so many came to play!
Everybody got better as the days went on and we all improved our riding and times.
Will check through footage but not sure how it came out. Got some great footage of Shelia who looked good, Ben was just beside himself with elation and Billi was coping better than was expected as I see by his video! Nice one
Ned was cutting me up as usual and Jay, well what fun we had playing! Shame about the bloody traffic but I shaved around 18 seconds off my times by the end of it all!
I was doing an average track speed of 80mph, a top true GPS speed of around 160 with an average top speed of 154mph so if I can do so can everybody else
Simon has already put next year’s jaunt up so think about coming on over! Bring the better halves and anybody else you fancy. Canny go wrong I say
Looks like a regular SWB Euro trip may be looming!

Re: Portimao
Such a fab time!!! Circuit is awesome fun, plenty to get your head around over three days play, and warm and DRY!!
Thanks guys for making it such a good laugh, I reckon going as a group was def a great idea...Steve, despite your iffy accent mate, you're a SWBer now
Anyways....antics...stolen shopping trolley, Mankini, uber strong beers (Kim! hehehehe) and late night icecreams
Good times!
