Not sure if this is a new event. I have joined the FB group named as per subject title.
This is their description;
Henstrige Airfield Bikers Blast is a FREE event that will take place on the 4th Wednesday of each month from 18:30hrs - 21:00hrs.
22nd April 2015
27th May 2015
24th June 2015
22nd July 2015
26th August 2015
The evening will give you the chance to let off some steam as fast as you dare down the 700m full size runway strip in the Airfield Speed Runs. Do it solo with your pals or in groups of 10.
As well as blasting down the runway at each of the events, a raffle will be held with 4 amazing prizes! The four lucky winners will be able to take to skies in the Henstridge Airfield based TB10 aircraft for a 15 minute flight. (the 4 winners will be fly in the aircraft on the next Bikers Blast evening) Raffle Drawn at 20:00hrs each night.
As well as all the above, 'Bikers Burgers' and 'Side Car Sausages' will be available with hot and cold drinks.
PLEASE BE COURTEOUS TO SURROUNDING VILLAGES WHEN MAKING YOUR WAY TO & FROM THE AIRFIELD - We want this event to continue with success.

You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.

Did you go? I went and I gotta say I was impressed, I didn't imagine it would be half as well organised.
Got 3 runs down the strip with my mate, loads of bikes turned out, and the stunt riders were incredible too.
Definately going for the next one

Sounds an absolute blast!!!! reckon there could be a little attendance going on over the next few months... 
Don't care who you are, how much you have, how powerful you are. You still sit on the toilet with your pants around your ankles. Yep, it's a level playing field..

great night and well organised,just a shame its only 5 minutes from me so not really a good ride to get there but will defiantly be going to the next one,managed 2 runs of the runway

Really enjoyed the evening, didn't take my bike down the strip but I was impressed with all those that did. Also a lovely ride from Chard.
