Driving licence for track days

I'm about to lose my virginity at Llandow and Pembrey. Am I OK with my old pink paper driving licence showing bike test passed in 1973 and car test passed in 1984? Never hap to get one of these modern photo' two part jobbies.....and I still have my old red card provisional licence from when TV was only 405 lines B/W......

That's the paper part of the two-part version. Ptolly has a proper single piece (pink paper) licence like wot I gott....!!!

Went to test ride a bike at Fowlers and had awwwwwwwwwful trouble convincing the little girly that it really was a licence.

Just putting my paranoia hat on to check that track day officials will recognise my valid licence:-

A full licence for all vehicles except road rollers, tracked vehicles and invalid carriages.

You need to supply your driving licence to confirm you have passed your bike test. If you go onto the DVLA you can get an authorisation code normally used for if you hire a car to confirm what you have passed. Might help
