Hi all
looking for some recommends for rear shock for potential track and road bike.
Nitron seem to be in the right price range.
Is it worth spending out more for adjustability? If i buy new it will be set for my weight.
I should be able to try out the set up a llandow in June.
Thanks for all input.

Hagon make good shocks to a sensible budget and specification, have you looked at them?
Don't forget your forks, they need love too.

Re: CBR 600FM suspension - YSS
Hello
Iam presently loving the front forks with a complete rebuild, they are off the F4 model and so have the 4 pot calipers which are also being stripped, cleaned and rebuilt.
To the question....
Any one had YSS shocks, I'm thinking of giving them a go, under £300.00 from Wemoto.
They seem to get good feed back but not sure for track day use?
Thanks

Re: CBR 600FM suspension
what level of track abuse are you thinking?
most shocks and forks so long as they are serviced are enough for the normal bit of track abuse.

Re: CBR 600FM suspension
If it was my choice,
Would either get the standard shock rebuilt with a correct weight spring and valve by k-tech or similar,
Or go buy a nitron, hyperpro or similar budget aftermarket shock which will be plenty good enough.
Depends on how much you would like to spend

Little late to the party, but the YSS are a good shock for the money but for serious track use not the best.
There is a decent aftermarket shock in what looks like very good condition on eBay at the moment, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-CBR600- ... SwfVpYv9F2" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
In a week or so I'll be looking to fit a 2016 ZX10 shock to a Steelie........just got to rip the rest of the parts of the frame so I can do it properly.

Re: CBR 600FM suspension
I have a Nitron rear shock on my 2004 zx10r and for the money its the best thing sliced bread, however if you cant afford it then I would see about getting it rebuild and re-sprung.
