Bridge Bike nights

Post by billinom8s »

Start tonight.

Speaking at Bridge earlier they have a few well known BSB riders popping in this summer season.

Names and dates to be released at some point.

Swb have been asked if they would like to have a stand there on one of those evenings too.

I'll post up when the details come through so we can, if you want, get some bodies down there and bikes.

Just out of interest.. what's SWB's aim with regards to having a stand?

Advertising the forum, getting more members, encouraging people out on rides and into the community.

What did you think it was?

I dunno...

I'm just use to stands at events being either for shops or for clubs/groups trying to increase exposure and thus membership and funds.
I guess I just wondered if SWB had aspirations towards any particular goals other than just increased membership.
Not that increasing membership isn't a good enough reason though.

Carl Fogarty and Steve Parrish this week so I'll miss that one as I'm not a violent man and there is only one way to greet Foggy in my book. I hope they get some current riders in for July as that is the first I am likely to make after this one.

Hi Si

Job and travel permitting I am up for helping at this one.

Can I also suggest we might want to consider what we are going to put on the stand. I agree that we want to encourage more members but might want to promote all of the social media including Forum, Facebook, Twitter and also Track days (LLandow) Ride outs (friendly, early morning etc) and social meets (Moto GP at the Walk About).

Not sure how we best do this if we get picture boards or create flyers but has got to be worth doing.
