Post by Smiler »

.....rumoured to be turned into a housing estate :(

Shame, ace circuit that doesn't attract the usual pregnant goldfishies!

Nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

b-( :(( :-ss 8-x

This is my favorite track. I love this place. Does not come as a shock through as it was clear there was further reductions in availability for bikes in particular and it would seem it is not a promoted track. With no viewing areas it was never going to be a race track that is used for Car or Bike racing so it leaves track days and private testing days to pay the bills.

This said if MSV try to continue to pay the bills for the track and keep things going looking at the time line I think we have a few years left before it will close and this is only if they manage to get all of the approvals to continue forward.

Its a good track
Maybe if the power worked properly and didnt trip, vans could stay by pits, noise testing wasnt so low, not having to power off when passing noise testers and not being told to spread out/slow down when grouped inmay even think about the very long drive up there again

power doesn't trip so long as people follow the instructions and don't plug in kettles

they aren't pits, they are garages. as the circuit is a test circuit, mainly for cars, you don't have to cater for race teams and their trucks etc.

noise testing is down to the courts

power off? load cans save lives on the roads, not needed on the track.

it's 3 hrs - we live in Devon, face it, you want to ride on track, gonna have to travel or build one.
