If you are heading towards Tivvy, Just as you go over the bridge by the Fishermans Cott, take a left instead of carrying on around the righthand bend, Following that around over the hump to the left and it'll take you all the way to Crediton.

Or from Crediton just go past the Ind est turning to IMC and follow the road

Becareful, It's corner and corner for miles.

A3072 top road but as always lots of farmers in area so be careful. Its got lots of smooth sharp corners but be very aware dairy in Crediton use all the time so it is very very greasy on wet days. I'm not an anorak of roads in the west country but as a delivery driver i do get about a bit. My top road choice is anywhere from Crediton, Okehampton, Hatherleigh, Holsworthy/Bude, Torrington climbing north Ilfracombe, Lynmouth,Porlock and Minehead. Also lots of burger vans on route if you like burgers that is. Keep it safe dudes

I know this road well, unfortunately it's been ruined by resurfacing. Formerly it was possibly the bumpiest road in Britain, potholers used to get stuck in some of the holes for days, which is why it was such fun to take sportsbikes on ride outs along it. It was ever so funny watching their teeth fall out at the end of it. Now it's just a road with lots of corners. Sigh.
