I want to sell my Honda Vfr 800fi but want to fix an advisory from last year's mot, which has now expired.
The exhaust is blowing due to a very small hole in an otherwise immaculate stainless header pipe.
The hole is due to a bit of bubbling where the two pipe clamp together, unfortunately it's on one of the main pipes not the short section.
It seems stupid to have to replace the pipes for one small issue on a joint. Would it be repairable, and would it be economical to do so rather than £230 for full replacement stainless pipes?

Put a picture up and where abouts you are.
