Oil pressure light

Post by Chris88 »

Hi everyone e. Me again cracking another little issue here on my lexmoto venom se 125

Turn on fine works fine revs fine all good no oil light on

As soon as pic up speed oil pressure light comes on and won't go off event if I stop on Idle.
Swich off and back on oil pressure light not on again....

Been riding fine. When that came on was on the way to home this morning. Checked oil level looks near full.
Question.
Is it really a pressure problem or can be just a oil that got thinner?
What should I do? How can I really check if its pressure issue before doing anything?

Thanks in advance

Think you need to speak to Billinom8s if I remember he used to work for Lexmoto and also is great with a set of spanners.

Sorted...

Thanks all.

I changed as soon as I bought it... But somehow I think oil was too thin (feels like it)
So I changed the oil completely and top it up to the full..

When for a ride and no light at all.....

That was scary.... Hahahaha

Ps: I don't know where the oil filter is...... I tryed to look up on the parts and no where to be seen any oil filter for this engine....

There's going to be an oil filter or screen (can't remember how they worded it.) You'll need to pop the side casing off of the engine to clean that.

"Spinner" is usually the wording for a oil separator.
As used on smaller bikes like the msx125's.
A quick YouTube and I'm sure you will find a walkthrough.
