So who's coming out to play on Sunday? Weather looks like it'll be better up here than down on the sarf coast.

Well, El Trumpet has had it's old and el problemo lektrickery cables re-cabled with uprated stuff, plenty of it's old connectors cleaned/replaced and re-connected and it's old 'bars re-barred with higher ones. And had a gremlin-free shakedown run to follow - all ready for tomorrow; and what happens? Some b*&&*%*s done a rain dance and it's worked!

If the current prepissitation extends in to Sunday a.m. I may, after parting the lace curtains to check, act my age, pass on this, fire up the Horlicks maker and retire back under the covers until there's some blue in the sky.

Gottit.

Will see how the storm gods perform. If they're having an afternoon kip, I'll be there too. Meanwhile it's back to the Horlicks.

Was a good 'un. The three "pensioners in denial" and one young gun took the chance. Bit of drizzle and winds up top o' Exmoor and due care given to the crap on the roads. Then roads got better and weather improved (could have sworn we saw a couple of blue bits above) for fun  from Barnstabubble to Torry then Sarf Molton and the old road back to Tivvy.

Thanks for the company guys :-bd :-bd :-bd

T'was a good 'un indeed Brian, thanks for organising and leading :-bd . I particularly enjoyed your lack of Speedway-style antics now you've decided that having some tread on your tyres is a good idea in the wet :)): .

We had every road condition imaginable, and the ride was all the better for it. Brian, Roy and Duncan, thanks for your company and the laughs, and roll on the next spirited rideout when no doubt the usual 'hardy annuals' will ride where the 'wallflowers' fear to tread.
