so I guess that's that then???

Post by billinom8s »

So it would seem we're on lockdown. Anyone nervous?

From what I heard it's 3 weeks to start with and then see what happens.

I guess there's gonna be some shiny bikes coming out of the garage this summer.

Let's hope things get sorted soon and we're all still here at the other end of it.

The selfish w@nkers who thought they knew better have forced the government's hand. Fingers crossed, but I suspect it will be quite a while before we can all get back out together for bikers playtime.

I’ve been called into work today, we are not running coach services anymore but we are taking all coaches back to head depot in wales to be locked up!

After today I’m really not sure what’s going on, it’s going to be weird seeing a line of 50 odd National Express coaches going over the welsh bridge.

Rumours are our company are tendering us out to agency companies to do shelf filling in supermarkets, honestly don’t fancy that but I’m very confused about what I should be thinking , glad to be offered work? Worried I’ll be in public when really I should be at home keeping safe, concerned about paying the mortgage and bills.

All very very odd and scary times.

How is it hittin you?

I'm still out at work. Who knows when it'll dry up though, I guess folks still need lifts to run.

Take the supermarket Work but go for the night shift.

I work for a company that works on rail transport infrastructure. We are, apparently, designated as "keyworker" so at present it's business as usual (but a fair proportion of my time is working from home anyway).

That'll never happen. Why can't the construction guys help with the farm work?

I’m out.
Furloughed Employee i think three call it, being paid an 80% wage to stay at home but be available for any work that may come up.
So don’t expect to hear much so I’m going to keep busy with garden work that needs doing and be thankful I’m not public mingling and getting paid.
Bikes laid up and if time allows ill get around to finishing that fender if i can still get any parts delivered
