You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.

Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Where was it Brian, could you post up a streetview link so that I can log that one as one to be cautious of after heavy rain?

It was on the A3124, approaching the A3072 near North Tawton. Nothing special, just a typical bend on a typical lesser A road in Debbun. Google gives a postcode EX20 2BE and the grid reference is 50.785695,-3.892765.

I came down that road in the car on Thursday afternoon and it was like a forest rally stage.

Lots of flooding and gravel and stones everywhere. It's a cracking road normally but bloody awful like that as there are tall hedges all along it

All you who have got banged up know that sometimes you can get the start of delayed shock set in even a couple of days after the prang. Not saying it's that but either way, Get well Roy.

Roy's bend.jpg
The gravel was almost impossible to avoid unless using other lane. With my crystal ball that's where I'll go next time.

I believe to be successful with that you would need to prove they have an inadequate system for monitoring and maintaining that stretch of road.

Just spoke to His Royness at Bandit Towers. All is well bar being a little stiff and tender in all the wrong places. The tractor - sorry, Bandit - will be resurrected in plenty of time for Brian's ptember 6th rideout, as will he.

I might try and make this so I can see what ingenuity Roy has employed to fix the battle bus.

I'm thinking extensive use of cable ties, bits of wire and maybe bits of random plastic taped over the broken bits :-o
