Hey Gus, most of us can only get between 60 - 80miles out of a tank so have to stop somewhere along the way. I wouldn't worry about bringing extra we will stop at a couple places I'm sure.

I got a spare tube and tyre irons, is a front lift strap worth investing in? Just starting to put my kit together ready for Saturday, if I order a strap today it should be here by Friday.I'll also throw in some zip ties, cutters and a selection of tools.

Cheers,

Fozz

lift straps a good idea front or back you can use a old fan belt or web strapping Remember you have to carry it all 😀

@Tractorwackyracer - what a great tip about the military waterproofs on eBay. Mine turned up today, full Goretx top and bottom for £30. I'm going to get some more for walking the dogs in the Winter, hopefully the little gets won't be able to see me in the camo' :)

So that's me about kitted out for the day. Let's hope my riding doesn't let me down...

Please forgive me in advance for the bling on the bike. The owners before me like a bit of billet and anodised accessories. Anything ally that could have been swapped for red has been!

I'll be known as the blinged binner... lol

Number of miles will be subject to how complicated lanes Tractorwackyracer chooses and how determined us (mortals) will be. For now, it seems we are ok in determination department. But we`ll see how it goes when we get there. :)
