In Superstock they only use cable ties to retain the sprocket carrier.

I recently fitted new heavy duty cush drive rubbers to the Busa and even with red rubber grease the sprocket carrier was such a tight fit I had to compress it in place and hold with cable ties to fit the wheel. Cable ties removed once in place...
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't

And I worry that I don't have enough chain lube on the chain whilst the bike is in the garage over winter. After seeing this think i need to stop worrying
