Hello guys!

Post by Jimmyjam91 »

Good evening everybody, I had been invited this forum by Simon which I believe he's called Billinom8s here. He's been nagging me into this for while but he's right though 😁

Well, my name is James, I had been biking since 16 and now 29. Currently got SV1000 SK3 for road and GSXR 1000 K5 for track (which currently in bit in my kitchen!).

I haven't been track days for few years so I'm looking forward to do few soon, hopefully with some of you guys and also have few good ride out on road shortly after this Covid situation!

Hi James and welcome to the forum. Once we are out of this lock down and when the sun blesses us with its presence we normally have quite a bit going on around here. Most weekends there is one ride out or another and if we really kick covid then might get back to some pub meets for watching Moto GP.

Personally love track days and hope to have 5 or 6 as well as Llandow so would be great to see you on one. That Gixxer with slicks looks like its serious stuff so I'm guessing you know your way round a corner or two

Brakes are interesting. I've found the k5 brakes do tend to go off a bit after some time on the track. Have you used them on the track?
