So... Cleaning the bike on an uneven surface turned the handlebars from full lock right to full lock left, Bike goes down!
Only damage I can see apart from some very minor scratches to fairing, engine casing and bar end... Clutch lever is broke.
Anyone recommend anywhere to pick up a new one?

Re: Dropped Bike!
So bloody aggravating I remember when one of my old paddock stands just decided to die on me for no real reason and the bike fell of one of the bobbins making it fall over to the side. Was battling away to try and hold it up whilst knowing the bobbin was still on on the other side of the bike. Eventually won the battle and laid the bike down very carefully but ended up with a scratch on the exhaust from the paddock stand. Was not impressed. (this was on a Gixxer thou)
I now use a Abba paddock stand and a lot more stable for both cleaning and garage work

Re: Dropped Bike!
Yeah gutted tbh fully kicking myself for a rookie error. Gear shifter also bent and mirror too. Fell as I was standing on the other side so couldn't keep it up. Can't do anything else other than buy the parts and get it sorted!!

Re: Dropped Bike!
Never a good experience, best thing is to learn from it and ensure that that mistake isn't done again.
My advice is to get a rear paddock stand as this will make life so much easier and look for an even surface when washing/cleaning you bike

Re: Dropped Bike!
The biggest takeaway from this little episode should be to leave the bike in gear on an uneven surface!
