Even worse is the high winds forecast, not good for two wheels.

Well I think tomorrow will be a no-no, so while it's still dry I'm off for a shakedown run on the Triumph with it's newly home-bodged and lowered footrests (Roy would be proud of this mod' ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ).

While the forecasts have improved the expected high winds and more than moderate rainfall mean I'm calling it off. Yes, I'm a wimp...
for the brave Simon may well be still doing the other ride.

Figured the ride would be put off, so as Phil went for ride today with 25mph winds the only spoiler. The forecast tomorrow is for winds of over 50mph. No joy at all.

Had my MRI today from the crash 2 yrs ago. Won't be on any rides for some time, sadly
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Right call there Herr P; and Simon's jibbed for tomorrow too - also the right shout.
I'll now be spending the day modifying the Trumpet's gear lever to cater for the new lowered footpeg positioning. I dropped the 'pegs 70mm and my experimental Plan A of simply angling the lever down wasn't a goer; unlike the rear brake lever which has responded to it's ACME Bodge Co.Inc' mod' rather well :D . If gear lever mod' Plan B is successful, pic's may follow :D .
