Santa summer cruise 26th June

Post by BikerGnerd »

I didn't know if anyone here attends this and fancied riding up, I know they were going to be having a meet to ride up from Exeter though last one I just went to Taunton to start(and that was when I had my 125 haha). It was great fun when I. Did it last year, everyone in fancy dress and even the bikes dressed up. Definitely a sight to see.

From event info:
I hope that you can join us on the Summer Santa Cruise this year. it is hard to believe that it has been over 36 months since the last Summer Santa Cruise to raise much needed funds for Children's Hospice South West. If you are unable to attend but still want to donate then please follow the link at santasonabike.org.uk

TBC
There will hopefully be a ride organised from Bristol to join the main cruise.

I am looking for someone to lead a ride from Exeter to Barnstaple.

Please remember to respect others wishes about wearing face coverings.

09:15 Depart Little Red Cafe, Taunton, TA2 8RX
09:45 McDonald's, West Park, Wellington, TA21 8YA.
10:30 McDonald's, Lowman Way, Tiverton, EX16 6SR.
11:00 Log Cabin Diner, Moortown Barton, EX36 4RZ. A361
11:30/12:30 Arrive W C Hockins, Severn Brethren, Barnstaple, EX31 2AS.
12:45 Depart W C Hockins.

Unfortuneately it usualy coincides with the 'Run to the Bun'.

I've led the Bristol to Taunton sector twice and back-marked it twice. Wish I could participate again.

Great fun route on the way back via 3227
Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Yea was a pretty good ride and a fair few people turned up for it. The wrapping on my panniers and top box didn't last but have learnt for the next one now haha.
