Sunday 3rd July rideout - Somerset coast and mid Devon

Post by Robbo87 »

For those of us that had to miss out on the Wales weekend, and for those who did it and feel they still didn't get enough riding in :)): .

I've planned a route of just over 100 miles, taking in a coffee/snack stop with a sea view, approx' 42 miles from the start; then some traffic free Exmoor roads, followed by a little sheep worrying and finishing in either Morrisons or Wetherspoons in Tiverton.

START: 0930 hrs - Smiley's Cafe, Turks Head Lane HONITON: Postcode EX14 1BQ or co-ordinates 50.79693, -3.20813 if you're REALLY keen. Please be fuelled up and ready to go.
ROUTE: P m'd on application.
TEC: Only needed if there's hordes of you and the drop-off system's needed - so a standby volunteer/victim for this would be nice  .
PACE: My usual 'respectable' one, with no-one getting left behind and no trackday antics.

If there's enough interest I'll start a list.

2. RWYB & your non-participating thereof: I'll shelve my spanners then :)): .
3. RWYB: Are you still going anyway (just to watch I mean)?

If you didn't want to hike to the start at Honiton, you could latch on to us at The Worlds End pub TA4 1ET, On the A38 between Wellington and Taunton. If you're deffo coming, wait on Silver Street, opposite the car park at the back of the pub. We'll be coming down Silver Street (not the A38) and will be there at approx' 10:10 hrs
