Well, it looks like Devon and Cornwall has the second lowest stats for bike thefts.
Where as Avon and Somerset has one of the highest !!!

Re: Figures on stolen bikes
So I guess the criminals will look at those public figures and think that Devon bikes are either over protected or that nobody bothers to come down this far.

Re: Figures on stolen bikes
Bristol is stupidly high for thefts.
A fact came out the other day that over 600bikes in 3 months got stolen from wiltshire.
Not brilliant numbers. Just got to do what you can to make it as hard as possible.

Re: Figures on stolen bikes
I got back on a bike in 2011 After 30 yrs or so without.
I've had 5 thefts plus 2 attempts (in Brizzle). Madness.

Have you noticed that anyone going slower than you is an idiot, and anyone going faster is a maniac ?

Re: Figures on stolen bikes
Ah, 1911. The heyday of biking. There were zero thefts of bikes that had no ignition keys, nobody needed a huge padlock and chain and GPS trackers hadn't been invented. and there were still green fields between Brizzle and Barf
old and disgraceful so doing what I can while I can before I can't
