Brands Indy

Post by R6 STU »

I know brands Indy gets some stick but for £130 and a chilled out day I think it’s good. (Wouldn’t pay £165+).
Get in the night before to set up, hotel at the entrance, cheap pub with good food and good boobs just down the road.

I’m still not 100% happy, rolling into paddock hill, too late on the gas out of clear ways and just generally need to sharpen up.

Got into the 55’s by the end of the day

Not done the Indy track just the GP track so far and back there again in a month.

Personally I found (not saying this is right by the way) that I would stay more left along the start finish straight. Then take a late apex / turn in that would give me a better line to ride through. This way never felt I was being pushed wide towards the gravel trap and most of the turning was done by the time your on the apex meaning your straight lining the steep part of the curve….. kind of.

Will have another go in a few weeks.

Yep, I’ve got a lot of tidying to do. I’d probably be better off dropping a group and sorting my lines. The first few sessions were somewhat chaotic 😂
