You are of course welcome along to any Southwestbikers rideout, however your bike must be in good mechanical order (we don’t want anything falling off of it including you), taxed and have a current MOT. You must have a valid motorcycle licence and current motor insurance. You are in charge of your motorcycle at all times and SWB will not accept any responsibility for actions you take or any accidents you may have. Always ride within your own capabilities and do not put others at risk. Remember, while you are on a Southwestbikers rideout you are representing the site and what it stands for.
Thank-you.
Don't forget......ANYONE can organise and run a rideout.

Thanks to everyone who tore themselves away from the idiot box ('footballs coming home' - ha!) and joined the rideout today i.e. Brian, Roman, Andy, Duncan and Richard.
We hit some rain for a while but it was English summer rain so cleared after a bit, There were a few more back lanes than I'd planned, but it's all part of the rich tapestry that is often a SWB rideout . The lanes left the bikes a bit grotty though - sorry Duncan .
Good to see a lot of other bikers at Jonesey's Cafe - it helped to prove we weren't the only sensible ones out and about!
Anyway, thanks again to those who turned out. Hope to catch you all again on the next one.

Cheers Phil was good to get back out on road after so many tracks that’s proper tracks not dirt tracks

I've never tried green laning on a KTM Duke before in the pouring rain, so thanks for that ride Phil
Much better when the sun came out to play. Almost dried my gloves out by the time I got home. Cheers for the company, guys

Re: Sunday 20th August. Rideout to Bridge M/C's BSA open day.
After watching England become runners up, I decided to visit Bridge Motorcycles and see the new BSA and the returning bikers.
Hardly anyone at Bridge at 1420 hrs so probably just missed you.
The BSA looks tidy and as a fair proportion of owners will do their own maintenance, without a centre stand, I won't be buying it.
Hope you had a good ride.

I was also planning to show up at Bridge but got side tracked.
Then I checked the rain radar and my bike simply refused to go out.

One thing to note about bikes like that is they can be lifted by the frame rails due to the exhaust being along the side. That means a relatively cheap bike lift can be used which generally don't require much effort to operate or setup. Not ideal for touring but that BSA isn't a typical touring bike.
1190 Adventure S, 990 Superduke, DRZ-400E - all the bases covered.
