Sat 7th October

Post by Ming »

As I can't make Brian's ride on the Sunday, I'm heading out on Saturday. I'll either start at Exeter if there's interest from peeps up that way, or Kingsteignton if there's anyone from Torbay area. Gonna do the route I did with Menzies the other week. About 4 hours incl a stop for tea and cake. 10.00am at Bridge or 9.30am at Ten Tors, Kingsteignton.
Progress will be attempted where possible ๐Ÿ˜Š

Sorry mate - most rides start north of Exeter and continue to head north so thought I'd offer something for the southerners ๐Ÿ˜‰

Andy, see you "oop north" at Bridge 10.00. I don't really want to go all the way down south to the tropics of Torbay for the start

You and Si seem to be the only "southereners" prepared to post a ride on the forum nowadays

I'm probably not the only one who has seen a drop off in terms of rides posted, so thought I'd get some fellow bikers along to keep me company. I get bored riding on my own and am determined to make the most of the sun while we have it

Thanks for a great ride Andy, I don't get down that way very often and I'm sure there were areas I'd not ridden before.
Nice to see you again too Brian, and that angry sounding Kwaker.

A fun time had by Andy, Richard and Moi. Great one Andy (ming) :-bd

Like I said, you seem to know the "Secret Dartmoor" as well as I know the "Secret Exmoor". Even the 3ft wide muddy/gravelly bits. I think the off road boys should know some of today's route

Great to get out in the warmth and enjoy the beauty of our countryside. Even if a few unplanned detours had us up close and personal with some of it. Having only 3 of us meant not getting split up very often so we managed to get some miles done with enough time for a long stop at the cafe in Princetown - Thankyou to Brian for the coffee and cake
