Still looking for a good used bike, for commuting and general ride outs and wondered if anyone has any experience of the dl650 or 1000 v stroms

Yeh, I had 650 for 2 years, took it to the Alps.
It was a good bike, economical, massive tank range and enough power to get the job done.
I only sold it really because I had bought my 990 Superduke and that really showed how soft & under-powered the dl650 was, so I replaced it with an 1190 Adventure.
One day I might have another DL650, as I'm starting to want something smaller again for slower rides (but the 1190 is a keeper).
Never been too interested in the DL1000 as most think the 650 was the better bike.
