Beware parking at Queens Head for MotoGP

Post by DaveH »

Received this through the post. It is for parking my car in the pub car park when I went there to watch the MotoGP.

Unbelievable!

I'll be talking to the landlord about it over the weekend.

I have no idea if there were prominent signs that I missed, and I suspect they can’t legally enforce it anyway. I’ll do some research.

Watch this space!

Tablet? So you can pay online? Is that just for cars or bikes as well?

No, they want you to enter your reg' number so they know it's customers using their car park not riff-raff. Quite a few places have this now. Seems reasonable to me. Perhaps the signs asking you to enter your reg' should be bigger and/or more prominent.

I hope this registering car reg' numbers malarkey doesn't apply to bikes parked out the front. There was three of us there last Sunday.
