Breakfast bimble - Sunday 9th Feb'.

Post by Robbo87 »

If the weather gods permit, there'll be a rideout on Sunday 9th. This one with a slight difference as am planning on meeting for brekky (or whatever) first, THEN the rideout.
Meet at the cafe venue near Exeter at 10.00 a.m. and, after filling faces, start from there. Route won't be too long or strenuous, mostly keeping to tried and trusted biker friendly roads.
Full details to follow.

Rideout details:
10.00 hrs - meet for breakfast at Cafe Earth in Bartletts Country Stores/Orchard Nurseries, Tedburn Road, Exeter EX4 2HD.
Route will be Tedburn St Mary, Okehampton, Torrington, Winkleigh, Crediton, Tiverton - about 80 miles.
Pace: Making progress while having a regard for prevailing road conditions.
Notes: (1) Please be fully fuelled up on arrival at Café Earth. (2) Might stop for coffee at Union Road M/C's in Crediton if all agree, otherwise it's where we finish at Morrisons in Tivvy. (3) The rideout's weather dependant of course so keep checking back.

The weather's still looking o.k. chaps, so unless the sky falls in or the orange nutter across the pond makes it illegal overnight  - or even if he does :)): , TOMORROW'S RIDE IS ON AS LISTED :-bd . See you all at Café Earth for brekky at around 1000 hrs. Check here before setting off though.

Re' the Google Maps hiatus: ta for the heads up Brian, now sorted.

Me: Simon, how do I tell if my tires are too worn?
Simon: There are these wear indicator thingys in the treads.
Me: I don't see any wear indicators, or any tread for that matter.
Simon: ...

Gonna have to dip out of this one, as my rear tire is pretty much worn down to the metal. Phil is going to sort me out with some new Road 5's, so I will be back on the bike soon and ready to enjoy my premium suspension setup that Simon dialled in today. Hope the weather holds and you all have a blast tomorrow!
