£200 for coombe is too steep for my liking!
The test of the machine is the satisfaction it gives you. There isn't any other test. If the machine produces tranquillity it's right. If it disturbs you it's wrong until either the machine or your mind is changed.

Bit confusing above. Has anyone actually booked this for 08/07? According CC website, £150. Asking, cos I'm thinking about it.

Yeah me too. It's in the very early posts in this conversation. I believe there's 3 of us on this date. All via the CC website.

So that's MikeZ, wurzel58dog, and Grumpy Jase, all booked it.

I decided to go for the MSV deal where you spend £500 to get £600 of vouchers so will be using these before i book anything else now. So think I will have to give this one a miss. But hope you guys have a good one and I am wanting to go back to Castle Coombe again so sure will sort something for later in the year.

That's a shame Rob, I've been watching your videos from your visit last year, and was looking forward to trying (and failing) to keep up. As you've said some of the lines are interesting, but your lap times are good, and it's clear that you are carrying good corner speed, and in particular are back on the throttle way earlier than me. Need to pull my finger out!
I'm not really grumpy, just misunderstood

Re: Castle Combe 8th July 2026
Thanks for the kind words. and always appreciate the video watch. My corner in and mid corner speed is something i have been working on for a while but need to sort out lines around Castle Coombe because they just didn't feel right and sure i could scrub off a good few seconds per lap once i have got it sorted.Grumpy Jase wrote: ↑Feb 6th, '26, 11:15 That's a shame Rob, I've been watching your videos from your visit last year, and was looking forward to trying (and failing) to keep up.
