Yup, used to ride one... decent bikes, still have a set of carbs if you want them.. yours for a £15

they are a solid, reliable bike - but usually abused by not being looked after.
but thats why most people use them for training - enough pep to get the heart pumping though.

I've got a mate selling a mint GS500 at the moment, think hes looking for £1200 not sure what year though. If your interested I can find out.

I use to own a GS450E (the forerunner to the GS500). They are cracking little bikes capable of doing most things - took mine two up fully loaded with camping gear to Le Mans it was ideal for the job.
However i did end up having a big accuident on mine so if your planning to ride it quite fast you might want to make sure the suspension is sorted first.
so it turns out.........sometime i do give a f*ck
