Ok so any particular spot in Honiton etc?
Just before the A35 joins the A30 Exeter bound, there is a right turn to a petrol station, if you google it and look in satellite view it's marked as the A35 which goes round to join A30 East bound, you can sort of make out the garage about 40 yards down on the right? Jon. :?:
there is a lay-by opposite the junction that takes u to that garage
Thanks for pointing that out, meet in the lay-by then JohnBob?

Should we be getting concerned at the number of people who seem experts in lay-by locations .......

Is this the layby adjacent to the game of cricket on the A30  OR the layby on the A35 adjacent to some white/red/blue trucks?

Do you think they might be experts because they've spent so much time there?

Is this an Omen - might we be spending time finding out about the Lay-by's of the South West...

OMG! I'll be at the garage at 8.30am, shortly afterwards, if no one turns up I will head back to the slip road for the A30 having a quick look at any lay-bys I pass for any one with a bike- I'm guessing there won't be that many bikers hanging around Honiton at 8.30 on a Sunday morning ( You're on a white Hornet aren't you JohnBob?) If no one shows I'll just head on down to the services at Exeter Jon.

Cheers Fester, will be there, looking forward to meeting you. Honiton is on my way so I'll call in and see who's about before making my way to Exeter services. -Jon.

Good idea, I think there is a danger of us making a simple day out seem more complicated than a trip to the edge of the universe! LOL

Sorry to confuse the garage / layby issue. The garage in the photo is Jet and is on the right just before the A30 as you leave Honiton if you have gone through the town centre from the Axminster end of the A35. The Layby is on the main drag towards slip road onto the A30. To confuse the issue there is another slip road on the main A30 duel carraigway just before the Honiton slip road that leads upto the Jet garage. Hope this helps. If its made things worse, Sorry
