Or even hold a 2nd event on a different date?

I would have loved to go but can't do that weekend, maybe we can form a follow on group for a couple of weeks later, same place, same route but just a different date??

Well, Brian knows the roads. I've just found the accommodation.

It's my birthday weekend. I'll be doing the rides there and back and the Saturday ride out. Andy is the star for getting the accommodation this time. I did that work for 2019 and 2020 and asked for others to help find somewhere other than the Neuadd for a change. Many thanks for Andy and Phil doing the research for 2021 :-bd

I can't afford another weekend but others could easily copy at another date, even use the Neuadd if they wanted and I can advise on ride out routes if wanted........

For those keen to consider a biking weekend in Wales in 2021 and have missed out on Brian's trip, here's some info'. . . . . . . . ..

Andy 'Ming' and I had been investigating possible venues for SWB's Wales Weekend next year. Andy's digging produced the first positive result and so we've gone with that. Just today I received a reply from one of my enquiries and although the dates I gave them and the quotes I got back were for 18th - 20th June, I'm pretty sure they'd be happy to accomodate any SWB group on other dates too. If someone wants to take it on, here's what I've got:

The Hampton Hotel, Temple Street, Llandrindod Wells LD1 5HF. Tel' 01597 822585. https://hampton-hotel-llandrindod-wells.hotelmix.co.uk They have 28 rooms and the prices I was quoted were - Double and Twin rooms @ £50.00 per' night, Single rooms @ £30.00 per' night. Breakfast is included and they have secure bike parking.

To whoever wants to organise a break in Wales and if the above details suit: mention my name, Phil Robson, on first contact.

Brian's the routemaster, I think he's already posted up that he's happy to help with that.

Just had a call from the booking agent.

Can the remaining 3 people who have yet to pay their £15 deposit give Emma a call or email her today please.

She's still waiting for 2 deposits and more importantly the personal details I set out earlier.

I'm sure Si's on it but Dave hasn't been on here for a few days and may have missed the request. If anyone has his mobile number could you send him a text or ring him to get it done ASAP please.

Cheers

Yeah - it didn't work for me very well either. I did it the old fashioned way and rang her
