So we have 12 people needing transport all on the same inbound and return flights?

I've found a place that does a 9 seater Vivaro for £367 and a Golf estate for £240, so about £600 all in including excess protection.
I need another volunteer to drive and they'll need to provide their credit card details to reserve it. If anyone has any other suggestions fire away. Reckon on about £50 each plus whatever fuel we use.

I’m happy to drive and use credit card, assuming we’re in agreement that we share any charges the hire company might hand us?

Is everyone happy with what's being proposed? If not come back with a counter suggestion.

Sounds like a plan.

Did they offer any discount for taking two 9 seaters out of interest?

There's no discount for multiple bookings. If having 2 big vehicles is a bit overkill (assuming they have stock), we can get 3 Focus estates at a little over £200 each including excess protection. Means having an extra driver but gives more flexibility.

There's about £100 in it, with the 3 smaller cars working out cheaper than 2 mini buses. I'm not fussed either way - just let me know

If your looking at multiple small cars would recommend Avis car rental have used them a lot and although they are one of the main stream companies they have always worked well for me and are quite reasonable with their prices.

Something else worth considering when you do hire cars abroad is excess insurance policies. I use this all the time. Expect when you hire the car that you will not get insurance cover for windscreens or tyres and if you do have a bump then expect 1000 euro excess or more. these little policies can cover all of that for either a single trip or for the whole year for really not a lot of money. Drivers of the hire cars you might want to check this out. I personally have a Year long European policy. https://www.insurance4carhire.com/

Have just booked a 9 seater Vivaro minibus. Pick up from the airport, rather than a shuttle bus. Complete excess cover for peace of mind.

About £380 all in - exact amount won't be known until I get the conversion from euros on my card statement, but imagine it'll be about 50 euros each plus fuel. Got some good deals through Skyscanner - they have lots of companies on their books and this seemed the cheapest for a minibus. Obviously someone else has to book another car for the remaining people and luggage.
