Firstly, glad you got it back, yes it was bad that it got stolen but at least they didn't torch it. :)

Secondly, do you do that routine everyday of walking in for a bit? If so i'm not sure if it was oppurtunist and it was actually very well planned, either that or they actually just were looking for a bike to steal.

Anyhoo, this is why guns should be legal.

Well done on getting your bike back, hope you got the van driver a drink!
Hopefully the police can catch them through fingerprints etc.

Makes me think twice, i normally start mine then go in and get my kit on, don't think i'll be doing that in future  Big wakeup call to everyone i think!

Damn!!!!
That was great of the van driver to help.
Happy you got your bike back, sorry it got damaged though.
Wow, truly shocking, like an f'ed up magicians trick, one minute it's there, et voila, then it's not.
Hope it's always safely locked away from now on, watch for those b'stards and kick some crap if they ever show again.

Im not trying to advertise or anything, but its situations like this where an alarm would have helped. The second the bike was moved off its sidestand or the ignition was tampered with, then the alarm would have triggered. Being outside your house, you would have heard it.

Thats made me think actually! How many of us have performed the same ritual of getting the bike out everytime since we first owned one. I know I'm guilty of it. Makes you think  I do have a very sensitive datatool system 3 alram system though qhich would have gone off without a doubt

Exaclty, but how do you know otherwise?

least if they are breaking a whole bike you can ask for the bikes details to check it out before buying any bits I guess?
