Hi Guys & Girls,

I've only just purchased my new bike from Bridge and all I can say is that what an excellent deal I had.

Honda CBR1000RR & Dainese leathers & Arai Lid :-)

I did shop around and SP(Didn't have one and wanted to sell me something else), DynoMap (What a mess and only Italian bikes) and Speed(Oh dear) but all were more expensive for the bike I wanted, & the premises were not up to the standard of Bridge by a long way which the wife pointed out several times - Bridge has a showroom, not a shed !!

I was told that the saleman that they wanted to focus on the South West where they are the best - Hence the Andover closure - Who wants a Ducati anyway ?

Happy New year to you all, Try and get out on the 4th Jan at Exeter ride out :-)

Hi Sprocket,

Thanks.

Can't say exact price as the wife may cut me c*~k off if she new.

£500 off the blade - As on the web at the moment, but mega saving on clothing to make the bike price better than anyone else :-)

It would be a shame if Bridge went down. They have a nice showroom with loads of bikes. Some of them are a bit more expensive than other places but I've never found fault with the QUALITY of bikes in their showroom and because of their size, they have a good choice of bikes.

The only thing that lets them down in my opinion is their service department. Its scored pretty low over the years in some Ride (or was it Bike?) survey's.

The sales department however, brilliant stuff for me and the three bikes I've had from them in the past.

But with the numerous other smaller businesses in the same area now, they are under some heavy competition really and therefore will need to "go the extra mile" to compete.

Hi Chris,

I read that Survey also - Sure it was Ride. - But it all depends on how many people wrote in.

They were the only Garage to want to pick up my broken ( Read Smashed) bike on a Saturday afternoon and sort me a loan out.

Couple of friends have placed orders for Triumph 675 triples which they now won't get until Sept 2006 from Bridge / Triumph - So they can't be closing down.

Out of date? Come on, who cares about things like that  Just because they release a newer bike doesn't make the old one crap, and being an SRAD rider you ought to know that

Back on topic...

I was out today for a bimble on the SRAD wearing my new SWIFT boots... 8)

I popped in Bridge, and asked a guy I know there about this rumour, he was shocked and said business was slow but he hadn't heard anything like this, especially as they are planning to expand into the unit opposite as sole Honda dealers in the new year... :?:

Oh by the way...Yes, it was ferkin' freezing...
